Christmas at the hospital
150 mothers and babies receive a gift
Dec 16, the Palm Haven workers went to the government hospital with gifts for those in the maternity ward. The gifts were collected at VBS last summer by the children in Morris, Illinois and shipped to the Philippines. We were able to assemble 150 gift bags that contained toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, washcloths, 1 cloth diaper, 1 pamper, comb, receiving blanket, clothing article for the baby, and one special misc. item. After the Palm Haven employees sang 3 songs they distributed the gift bags. I wish you could have seen all the smiles. Everyone was very thankful for the gifts. |
