Eight times a year Ambassadors for Christ Philippine Evangelism (AFC) offers In Service Training Seminars for men and women who desire to prepare themselves for ministry. The seminars are held at the two AFC training centers The complete program consists of 30 individual seminars. Each seminar consists of 70 hours of instruction and provides instruction in Biblical knowledge, leadership and administrative skills, and basic general education. Using this method of leadership training, more than 400 churches were planted on Mindanao by AFC in the last 22 years. This method is well suited for the rural areas of Mindanao because it provides lay leadership training for churches who are unable to pay a full time preacher.
